We tend to buy beauty care products that claim to have natural extracts by spending loads of money, when we actually have them available at our home. We buy beauty care products that have ingredients like almonds, aloe vera, coconut and what not; but don’t pay attention to the ignored beaker of almonds lying at our homes, or the aloe vera plant in the garden. These natural ingredients and extracts will do to our skin what these beauty care products can never really do, no matter how much they claim to be effective and ‘real’.

How many of you know that eggs are actually disguised magic for skin? People often use egg for hair, but did you know how much it could do to repair your skin? Well, try it to believe it. Here are some simple recipes that’ll help you try the egg formula at home.

Pore Chore: In two separated and beaten egg whites, add one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, mix it well. Apply the mixture on your face, especially concentrating on the area with open pores; let it dry for sometime and then wash it off with lukewarm water. This is one of the most effective formulas for closing open pores on your face.

Glamorous Glowing: Take 2 eggs and add 1 tablespoon of fresh, unflavored yogurt in it, mix it well and apply it to your face. After approximately 20-25 minutes, wash it off with lukewarm water. You’ll be able to see instant results, for the noticeable glow on your skin right after the use of this mask will be too pleasing to go unnoticed.

Winter Wonder: Break 2 eggs and add ½ tablespoon of honey in it, mix it well and apply it on your face and neck. Let it dry, and then wash it off with lukewarm water. This is sure to give you an instant bust of hydration; this mixture will also battle dry skin, especially during the winter season.

Bye-Bye Bags: Apply a thin coating of slightly whipped egg white under your eye area and after 10 minutes, wash it off with lukewarm water. Egg white helps to firm and lift the skin; it would work well to stretch the skin under the eyes taking away the puffiness to great extent.
